The motors are similar but they did change a bunch of little things including clutch cover, injectors, headers, and a few other minor things that currently is slipping my mind.

Yeah, Buddy! How much difference in ET do you think an 8% difference in gearing will make?

Oh, yeah. You're already running a chain drive, right?

What gearing are you using vs stock?

Do you really think a racer would give anyone a straight answer?

I was at an SCCA event at Portland International Raceway years ago and just started watching the post race tech inspection. I bent over to see the rear suspension of the new Datsun 240Z! I was hoping to see what what the magazine press was so excited about! The driver came after me in a very angry manner and asked me, "What are you was doing? Mind your own business!" he quickly chased me off. :-)

Over the years I have met many racers, they will MIS-direct you before they will move you any closer to their winning formula.

I have also known a few engine builder/racers, they won't sell a design until their next design idea shows merit.

Yea, I do. At least at the club level, the racers I've met are willing to share pretty liberally.

I've had them take me through stuff they have done the bike in great detail, what their settings are track to track, etc.
