I don't know how to get to the diadnostic mode I keep reading about on here can someone explain this to me please! I just installed my Erik Buell Racing ECM and I find it wants to stall if I blip the throttle, and this may sound a little dumb but ever since I put my FMF pipe on it I can't seem to power wheelie in second gear anymore even with the race ecm

Hold mode and toggle down together when turning the key on... That takes you into Diag mode, then just go through that to the TP settings, I believe that 2% closed to 100% fully open is correct.

I just checked mine..2% to 100%.

Dm, at 1.5% does your bike idle lower? Is .5% even noticeable?

I reset mine and it is now 2%. Idle seems the same.

I had the same thing happen to my install of the ECM, yesterday. Start the bike up, give it throttle and it would stall out. I turned the key on, cranked the throttle a few times, turned it off. It's fine now.

For some reason the bike does NOT idle too high. It feels like it did before I changed the ECM, except for the fact that it will now lug down a lot lower in the RPM range, say 50-55 in sixth gear. The bike will accelerate away from that, where as before, it would spit, sputter and then finally accelerate away when the RPMs came up.

That's exactly what it's supposed to do : )

Idle is 1400 on the Erik Buell Racing against anything up to 1800 in stock and the fuel map makes the bike run richer (and cooler) which smooths out the low speed stutters : )
