I purchased some new wheels for the R. Do the axles or any of the components need to be replaced with a wheel swap out?

No. Just make sure the wheels have the bearings, spacers etc. and you're good to go.

As long as the wheels are off a 03-09 bike then you are fine. The 2010's use a different axle.

Thanks guys. I thought i read or heard someone say that the axle is fubar from being pulled.I was worried that I might be building another list of parts.

the axle is not a one time use. it would only need replacing if it was damaged.

ive put more tires on my 03 then i can remember and its still running the original axle and bearings.
