What parts are you looking to switch? It has been done by several before, you can use the search.

If you are looking to swap everything out let me know as I may be interested. I have a red R.

Id be up for changing the front around. If you would want to do the belt and swingarm we could, but you would end up with a black powdercoated swingarm in return.

out of curiosity why do you want to switch? I have seen people go from r to cr, but never cr to r. Just so you know, i hear that the insurance on an r is a lot more then on a cr.

Insurance would not be affected on a simple part swap which is what he is talking about I think

You should be able easily change the front part. Go to Erik Buell Racing site. They are selling the front R fairing bracket for $68 and R headlight set for $100.
