I realise it means sidestand system error but does anyone know if the code relates to a reason for the fault ie shorted wire etc ? I believe the switch is a "hall effect" type ? Have a quick check to see if the nut's still attached to the sidestand as it uses that to sense the stand being up..   Colintornado Posted on Wednesday, June 23, 2010 - 06:12 pm:        Yes the nut is there, the light came on after I had just started the engine with the side stand down.I will have a closer look in the morning in case there is a plug loose ?
