Is it possible to replicate the "textured" look when repainting the 1125r frame? I'm contemplating either going with the 2009 black color, or just clear coating the bare aluminum frame like the race bikes(except I don't think they are clear coated).

Anyone that has painted their frame have any advice?

I know that people have cleared the blue powdercoat with sanding or aircraft paint stripper.
