I first noticed it about a week or two ago and it seems it has been happening more and more. I'll be cruising along and glance down and see a big fat 0 where my speed should be. Has no effect on the tach. I took it in after reading all the posts about this problem. When I told them it was the speed sensor they didn't believe me. They want to "diagnose" the problem. I told them it was an intermittent problem and I never know when it will happen. Bottom line is my dealer won't order a new speed sensor until they look at it. It really doesn't happen enough for me to tie up riding time while they "diagnose" the problem. I told them I would run it until it doesn't work at all and then bring it in. I have a few more months of warranty so I hope it goes before then. Thanks to this web site I know more about this bike than the mechanics at the dealership. It finally started throwing Sys Speed Error or something like that on the cluster, and the dealer saw it. I bet I put 1,000+ on the bike with it reading "0 MPH" before it was finally replaced.   Andros Posted on Wednesday, June 16, 2010 - 10:42 am:        Mine does the same. Is it the speed sensor or the speedo itself?
