I'm thinking about switching to this in my dirt bikes & would buy it for the R too if it's OK. Thnx. Straight up distilled water with Water Wetter is also fine, and generally recommended in warmer climates. I'm not sure, but I've had a couple of Buell techs (as in, guys that worked for Buell) tell me not to run it. Since water/wetter works, and I'm in Texas so a light bulb will prevent a freeze in the garage in most winters, I just used that.   Smurph Posted on Wednesday, June 16, 2010 - 10:02 am:        I know the Propylene will not mix at all with Ethylene glycol, but other that that I don't know. I emailed Erik Buell Racing not to long ago asking them if it was OK to run in my 1125CR the response I got was "We use DI, or RO bottled water combined with Water Wetter in all our race bikes. It works very well. Engine ice is basically the same thing." so I was going to install it this week as I wanted some freeze protection as I am in N.E.Illinois. I know several people that have run both in other motorcycle and atv applications and say the Engine Ice definitely cools better and has lower operating temps. So I would really would like to run that but now I am curious why they say NO Propylene in the Buells.   Blur Posted on Thursday, June 17, 2010 - 10:56 pm:        I've always used distilled water and water wetter and have always been happy with that combination. Keeps the temp down when you're beating on it.
