I had the harness recall done on my 2010 CR this past week. Put 300+ miles on the bike since then - city traffic/commuting and sport riding in the canyons.
So far - never drops below 13.8 and never rises above 14.4.

My harness upgrade is the same on a '09 CR. I suspected it was installed improperly, so I tore into it and verified everything. Pretty hard to screw that install up. Everything is there and the installation is correct (I also chased out the wiring to verify the schematic).

I suspect the people having low voltage issues might want to look into a better battery. I highly suggest anyone on the fence about the upgrade do it to save your stator (or at least make it last longer).

Keep in mind, the other side could be your stator is already fubared and that could be the cause. Though 13.8 is within the charging realm.
