Just got reply from ebr,at the moment there is an ecm set up for a non-catalyst standard exhaust,however they are working on a set up to suit the standard exhaust with catalyst and it may be available in a few weeks. | ||

Strange.....all European bikes have catalysts as standard and many over here have Erik Buell Racing ECMs. So are you referring to California bikes? Perhaps they require a different set-up to European spec bikes | ||

I informed ebr that I had a 09 model 1125R and I was in England,I asked if they can confirm they can set up to suit the standard exhaust.They replied that they have not done a setup for a catalyst type exhaust as I have and that it will be slightly different to a non-catalyst,but as they have had several requests they are working on it and should have one available in a few weeks. I read somewhere on here that all 09/10 models have a catalyst (stainless front pipe connection section) ? | ||

Colin, It is more then slightly different I made the map for the version with and without catalyc convertor, can only say big difference. | ||

yay! I have a cali bike and have been wanting to get an ebr ecm. Is it worth it to get a non cat exhaust, or will the ebr ecm for the cat exhaust be just a good as the non cat ecm? | ||

My brother ordered his Erik Buell Racing race ecm a month ago for his cat std exhaust 1125R and he is running with it, and it works great. I have ridden it and can confirm it works beautifully. Erik Buell Racing lowered the idle too, plus it uses a different flash to the non std exhaust version. |
