The last few days my bike has been running rough and weak. I tried the throttle trick to "manually" clean the plugs, but that only seems to work for a few miles. I have some irridium replacements on the way, but it has only been 7200 miles. Other bad things that I have done lately are hosing coolant off the side of the bike when the headers were still hot and riding 120 mph.

What year? What mods? I have 8000+mi. on my stock 09R and it's been way over 120 many times with no problem. it seems to run better every time I ride it.

Have you checked coolant level? Whats your temps running? Is it leaking at the water pump weep hole? There's a fix for that.

It is a bone stock 09cr. The coolant was low and I replaced the factory coolant with water and wetter but not before I fried my plugs most likely. I will now check the pump weep hole, thanks Dipstick.

Charge the battery or put it on a tender if you have one. These bikes dont run as strong if they are down on charge, and running as hot as it was, the fans might have run more and drained the battery.

There is no sign of weepage now, which isn't to say that I didn't wash it off. My multimeter says I still have 12.56 V. with the bike off. Anyway, the lights came on well before I felt and heard engine issues when I had trouble with my harness job last month. (they didn't screw it back up tight). I see you are posting from my ancestral family seat, Winona.

12.56 is about 55% charge. It should be at 12.7 volts if the battery is 100% charged.
