Have you ever taken your airbox cover off?

May want to do that first then let us know what you think...

i havent yet on this. I did years ago on my xb12ss and i vaguely remember there being enough room to maybe mount a tiny speaker....could be wrong obviously...just thought it might be cool to have some tunes. Anybody use any sort of radio other than earphones in the helmet?

yeah there is 0 room for that there. if you dont have the cali can you could prolly stuff one under the seat but you'd need a remote control of some sort.

i was gonna install my j&m handlebar mount system till i did a test fit and found i wouldnt be able to go full right lock so i dunno whats next i am seriously thinking about the j&m bluetooth module

The exhaust and the wind is enough music for me. The volume control is on the right grip.

on my xb12R I mounted speakers on my mirrors and had a lil amp under my seat. worked good except for at speeds 65+. I planned on doing it again on my 1125R but decided to put speakers in my helmet instead.

Jensen used to make a tank bag that was a stereo and two speakers.

Bluetooth helmet speakers. Easier to setup, plus it transfers between my all 4 of my bikes as fast as I can toss my helmet.

i like the plugs cuz they cut down on wind noise. other wise it just makes me turn up the tunes too loud. and noise fatigue can be worse than you think.

I use the Scala Rider Q2 bluetooth headset, it installs easily on most helmets, and works fantastic. The new G4 model has stereo sound.

Listening to music while riding is like watching TV while you're having sex. Just sayin...

Nope. Two good things all at once. I don't always ride with the tunes on, but there are times when it's a plus.
All in all, I think it's safe to say we ride for different reasons.

Wow, I never have seen a HD zumo out in the wild...WAY too much $$ compaired to what you can buy them for online.

I use the Zumo 550 with the XM antenna on my FJR. I plug my Cardo Q2 into the zumo as the Q2 isn't A2DP (stereo bluetooth) and the XM does not go over bluetooth.

This is the best setup short of the new Cardo and Garmin Zumos as I would have to invest significant $$ to upgrade (pretty much everything I have now).

Zumo, Cardo, touratech, ram mounts, techmounts, powerlet, etc...

I have purged quite a few less than desirable posters. It is starting to get boring in here. : )

I was just reading the engine heat thread... and then clicked in here and this idea struck me: the hell with a radio, how about an espresso machine!

I tried a coffee machine on my XB, I didn't have much luck, it made a huge mess and didn't cook right. I will stick to the 6 pack electric cooler instead, it works pretty good.

ok fine, no coffee. How about lunch?

There's a great tradition of exhaust manifold cooking on the car side. I once cooked a lasagna that way (well, it was a frozen lasagna, but still). Hardly tasted like it was cooked in an engine compartment at all.

:-)

And I'm gonna de-noid my CR this week when that resistor part comes in. I bet I could cook two brats in the space where the solenoid was.
