LOL not a typical oil question!
Has anyone tightened their dipstick tight-enough that it wont shake lose but yet it leaks oil?
I had what it looked like clutch fluid coming out of a small hole which the clutch plate attaches to. I am not 100% sure it was not coming out of the dipstick, just no evidence to me!

I have had no such issues with my dip stick but I wonder if this is a commonality with other Buell owners.

I don't understand what you're asking. Are you implying that your dipstick will vibrate loose if you don't tighten it enough, but even with it tight, it leaks oil?

And then you mention the clutch cover and clutch fluid. What's that have to do with the dipstick?

I'm already on my second dipstick. While doing the official 'hot-check procedure' I cross-threaded the first one with less than 100 miles on the bike. I am now going to be very careful when putting it back in. I hate that hot check procedure.

From what I understand that clutch weep comes from the Puck not the case. Is this statement true?
Thanks guys!

the clutch weep is from the puck on the side of the clutch cover, if it was leaking from the dipstick, you would see oil all over the clutch cover. But when you have the clutch weep you will only see hydraulic fluid below the puck on the clutch cover.
