I got smaller in length stainless bolts and black panel push pins for the middle hole. It's not a big mirror block off plate, but it only cost about 4 bucks.

Mirror blanks/indicators for an R6/R1 fit, do a search on here and you'll find some previous posts on this.

I bought mine off ebay to fit when i installed the backup camera setup.

Yes - some people have replaced the sidelights with amber LED bulbs and wired them as blinkers, it's an easy mod.

Mav I got them from d2moto, very inexpensive, but definitely nice and bright. If I had to do it again I would get clears to match my 2010 tail light.

And I also am going to use the running lights as signals to aid in visibility, but just have not rewired them yet. I was waiting for the next time I needed to take off the fairing.

I have heard that R1 block offs will fit nicely. But do not hold me to that.

They are rizoma class retros. I painted the mount black. They are very good quality, rock solid. I absolutely love them.
If you search on ebay you can find a alternative that is half the price for a pair. They have a more elliptical mirror, and I have seen reviews that they are good quality as well.

The mirror block off plates work i just installed a set. Also the bar end mirrors they sell work also but i had to wrap some tape around the inserts so they would fit snug...but it all ties in together and work out good. I used the side marker lights up front for my blinkers as others have. Now all i have to do is sand the block off plates down and paint them flat black to get rid of the R1 logo that is engraved in them.
