If anyone has it they probable spent a whole lotta time + money getting it which might explain why you haven't had a reply yet. There is no guarantee that a custom pc v tune might work for 2 similar bike setup due to environmental factors etc. IMO The best thing to do would be to go and get the tune yourself, seems a waste getting the pc v which is intended to be custom tuned, and not.
And when you do get it, let me know

This is what I think happens. The shop falls into the idea that those settings are are an investment where the dollars are returned many times over, like software developers.

Bitey83 is correct, you have to step up to a dyno or get their auto tune option.

...Or, sell the thing and buy an Erik Buell Racing tune and not have to mess with it.

If someone has a Power Commander custom tuned, there's nothing to stop the bike's owner from saving the tune to a computer and then distributing it. Given the seemingly exorbitant fees many places charge for doing a custom tune, I could understand someone taking pity on others and just giving away the tune afterward. I don't think there's anything legally or morally wrong with that--when a person pays a dyno operator to make a custom tune, that person is paying for the dyno operator's time and expertise, not licensing a piece of software.

I think the reason there haven't been any replies is because most people seem to be going with the E B R ECM or one of the Fuel Solutions tunes. There don't seem to have been a whole lot who have publicly mentioned going the PCV route.

I have read more problems with the PCV than people that have had everything good.

Anyway I own two Erik Buell Racing Race ECM's and love them. Money well spent. : )

I found out about the Erik Buell Racing product only 1 week after buying the pc v so i ordered both for comparisons sake, with the theory being that i would sell the pc v if Erik Buell Racing delivered. So the Ebr product arrived first, matched with my HMF and K&N was WOW!!! Amazing over stock, so much smoother and happier running bike but the tuning still didn't seem 100% this is because it is tuned for the ebr exhaust system, When the pc v arrived I loaded the race ecm map from the website which riched up some areas and leaned out others and actually improved the overall tuning considerably, so i kept both. Recently i have contacted Michael at ebr who tells me they have a hmf map ready to go. So when i get my ecm back with the new map it might finally be getting rid of that pc v.
