2009 1125r 3000 miles, just got harness upgrade yesterday, my closest buell dealer is an hour away so during the ride home everything was good and i always ride with my low and hi beams on (HID). during some night driving my CEL came on and it said System Voltage. then the battery indicator came on and for the 1st the volts were down past 13.0 came on here and read thru some threads. i checked the new harness, even unplugged it and hooked it up the old way, still having the same problem. when idle the volts go up to 14 but when say the low beams are turned on or even when the fans kick on the volts drop back down past 13. when i had everything on (all lights, hi and low, brake pressed, turn signal, the lowest the volts got to was 11.3. I can officially say that the new harness is not the problem. can someone tell me what is going on? ive had all my lights on before the harness upgrade at idle and that voltage never dropped below 13
