I noticed when I went to do my emergency braking practice that the oil light will briefly come on just after a really hard brake to full stop. Other than that, mine doesn't light at all other than initial start up.

That happens to mine too. Pretty sure it's completely normal. If you think about it, the oil in the case isn't pressurized with the engine off...

I wouldn't worry about it.

Under very hard braking, it's possible for the oil to shift forward enough the pump doesn't maintain pressure for a brief moment or two.

I see it at the track rather frequently during hard braking drills or going into slow corners.

It's normal so far as I know. Certainly, I've beat the piss out of my motor to the point it's tired and I've not had oil related issues.
