Having some fun with geometry, can someone please tell me the distance(stock)the forks are sticking out past the top triple clamp? thanks

There is a clip on the fork tube that should be resting right under the top triple tree. That is what locates how far the fork tubes extend through the top.

I don't have the Buell stock shocks or trips on my bike and am looking for the distance for baseline set up thanks....

A piece of string and a plumb bob or a sheet rock square inverted and a tape measure will get you close enough for government work.

There are 2 alignment lines on the stock fork tubes, the second line should be even with the top of the triple clamp.
When set, the height is about 13mm not counting the cap.
