The time had come, time to really put the 1125 to the real test. Two things would happen, it would strand me in one of the most hostile places on earth or it would bring me home safe and sound.

330 miles later,and about 8 hours. From 62 degrees to 100 and everything in between. From over 5000 ft in elevation to 190 below sea level....

Flawless . Not a hiccup, not a sputter, it ran superb! It ran really well at over 5000ft which I was a bit surprised. I mean real well. Down low below sea level no problems either. All within short time periods and drastic changes.

So I must say Mr Buell a job well done ! Thank you..: )

Nice bike to take on medium distance, love the high bars and the seat not bad but I will look into a better seat in the future.

Fuel no problems pretty much in the 39-40 zone all day. Had times on the flat stuff when it read 50 on the instant meter but I take that with a grain of salt. Still it has good legs .

Took a Bagger with me just in case.. A Good friend Sherman-

50mpg???? Wow you must have been babying it.... i can hardly manage the 30's let alone 50mpg....
