> O.P. take your bike in if you feel its is not correct.... maybe get a tune..... either way, dying by blipping the throttle is not acceptable and this isn't a quirk.. its not right...

It's fine. I have three of these bikes, 2 '08 models and an '09, and I can do it with any of them.

The issue is not a blip, it's a quick SNAP, open/close, and I mean tight, fast, very quick SNAP off dead idle only.

I'll bet you $100 I can do it to yours, too.

If you blip the throttle as one would do at speed while down shifting into a corner, the bike behaves completely as one would expect.

Gemini... there's also a point when normal people get fed up with listening to excuses that others make for issues that should be resolved.....

"Don't do that", is not a solution, its a silly remark made for someone who has decided that they will settle for less...

My bike doesn't have a issue blipping the throttle, repeatedly.... this is with a tune and without... so now what's your excuse? my bike is the anomaly?

Jackgraves, i wish you the best. this thread has become a bit of a waste of my time trying to explain and help others understand what is going on. i encourage you and others to post pics of what your bike is doing "wrong". and with that, i'm done.

twas bothering me on my way home so i found a quiet place to make some noise. if i "rapped" the throttle, short blast of the throttle, say around 35-50% throttle and close quickly, rpms jump and drop and engine keeps running. 1 out of 3 times if i went from 0%-100% instantly, the engine would "stall" out before any rpm increase.

Jackgraves, is this what you are experiencing?
