I have an 08 1125R and 03 XB9R. Where the axle goes through the fork bottoms on the 03 XB9R there is no gap but on the 1125R there is a gap approx. 2mm. on the left hand side (opposite the disk). Can anyone explain this gap? Looks almost like there should be a spacer.

the diameter of the forks are larger on the 1125 so one would think that with the larger forks you would have to spread them father to get around the wheel. therefor a gap.

My 03 XB9S has about the same gap as 112R & CR, as well as XB12Ss.
