Dropped off the bike a week ago, the usual recall list; kick stand, plumbing relocation. Wow, after talking with the head mechanic (Lance) at TSI, he seems to know a lot about the 1125r. I mentioned all the mods I did, including the EB ECM. I didn't even know my directionals were not working until he pointed it out. Told him I was hoping to sort out the poor running, backfiring after the bike gets hot. Was thinking myself on the line of a failing O2 sensor.
Anyways, he took the bike for a good ride and mentioned the heat problem and a few solutions that HD will be covering. He said because I have the optional fairing, it might be running hotter than with just the pods. He is ordering the insulation tape kit for the frame (tank) and a kit (I believe the Cali Can) for the gas overflow and Mr. Stinky smell.
All for free. Just hope I am able to still ride soon before summer is here. Can't wait, cause I love this bike, even if it is Mr. Stinky. Now if he can just find a bad 02 sensor and replace it, I might get lucky and have a great torque rocket.
