I am a long time sport bike guy...Raced a long time too (12+ years / AMA Pro for a few, etc.). I have had well over 20 sport bikes in the last 10+ years or so and just spent a nice weekend in the NC mountains. The Dragon, Cherahola, Blue Ridge, etc. Put about 600 FAST miles on it in a little over two days up there. REALLY like this bike. One of my favs of all time. I have had other twins (RC 51, 996, SXV 550, etc.). This one really handles nicely, power is sufficient, etc. I also think it really fits my style of riding really well (I know this is subjective). Anyway, I was all sold on the new BMW1000RR as my next bike before I took this trip. While I will have the BMW, I will NOT be selling the 1125! Anyway, thanks to a great informative site and well as a great bike! Zracer, I spent time on the Dragon, too...Saturday and Sunday. I did the route early each day. Rte 28 was a blast, also. Nice video. I am waiting for a friend to send raw vid files of my ride. | ||

I had to DRIVE 10 hours to get those roads! I live in Florida...Very boring here. Terp, great roads for the Buell. Just "tractor" right out of the turns! Good stuff...Can't wait to go back. (Message edited by zracer196 on May 07, 2010) |
