I was more than a little aggravated about the shenanigans pulled last time. For the rather small price difference, I just purchased a new Drummer straight from KDFab. I felt much better about my money going directly to Kevin and I recommend others do the same. | ||

wow, alright guys. shenanigans? 1st time- mid pipe bracket was broken off. and had to get that professionally welded, and painted, which after a summer the powder coating was worn almost through anyways, and after it was done the buyer had to backed out from some car problem. 2nd time- tire kickers, low ballers, and people which had bought a new exhaust by then. So please be my guest to pipe in on something you know nothing about. oh wait you already did. thanks | ||

Jmr1283, I say do the right thing, and just give the thing to me. Seeing that way no one will have a reason to get upset about who was first, what price it went for, yada X3. What makes me the logical choice for the sacrificial donation? Simply; I am broke and cant afford one new or used. But I may be able to scratch up enough change to cover the shipping, and a promise to post a big picture of the donated for the betterment of a Buell rider Drummer exhaust... PM me... I got involved on what turned out to be the 2nd time the guy tried to sell the pipe. If you look here, I sent him a PM 6 minutes after he posted it for sale. I even beat Froggy to the punch. I had cash in hand, ready to make if a deal if the condition was good and the price was fair. With no prior contact, the first email I received back stated, "well theres a couple people serious and its up to 750.00", indicating to me that the classified advertisement had become an auction. At that point, I did a little research to find out that the pipe had been "hammered onto the mid pipe" and "bottomed out hard". Now, on the third attempt, we at least have an advertised price, and know that somehow the mid-pipe bracket was broken and had to be repaired. And now that I have my new Drummer, I can say that to break anything on it would take a tremendous amount of effort or negligence. I guess I was one of those guys that had "bought a new exhaust", and I can say with all honesty that I am glad I did, because if I had paid anywhere near 75% of the new price for a product that had been hammered on, bottomed out, or just plain broken, I would still be kicking myself. My MUFFLER came in contact with the ground, resulting in zero damage. like others who have had the same thing happen. the pipe is well made. the mid pipe bracket broke from fatiged(running a blank on sp?) metal, not some dreamed up muffler abuse incident. So many people wanted it badly that when someone offers me $ and its not from badweb i figured id offer it to someone on here. Now i regret it. if you offer me 650 and i offer 750 and u dont take it dont act like ive some how wasted ur time. If someone can help me to get these damn photos on here it would be much appreciated. maybe someone with photo shop i guess. | ||
