Don't know on the sizes, I just get the one that fits snug.

On the second question, if you have a HISTORY of twisting off bolts and stripping threads, get a torque wrench.

If not, just snug em up a bit.

Good luck!

Torque wrench recommended. You do NOT want to pull threads out of the aluminum cases.

RH drain is 9mm hex
LH drain, I want to say, is 18mm or 19mm IIRC.
Filter is either 10mm regular bolt, or T30 torx. Either will work.

Ratbuell,
Just got done doing an oil change on mine... left side is an 18mm, and i believe the r side was a 6mm allen... ???
Also, the filter cover on mine was one of those torx bit star type heads, which the factory tool kit has a wrench that fits perfectly... possibly mine has been molested before i got it (used with 2400miles) but thats the setup on mine...

yah, the filter cover is a torx...on the inside. The outside, if you look at it, is a 10mm normal-head bolt. In other words...it's a pair of 10mm bolts that have a torx socket punched in the middle of it. I'll get a pic later...and I'll check my manual because I wrote down the sizes for "next time" to eliminate the hunt next go-around...I'm pretty sure it's a 9mm, but I could be wrong. Happens to me every time I get out of bed, LOL

well, after a couple of trips to my helpful hardware man, its 17mm for the left side drain plug 6mm allen wrench on the right side, and 8mm on the filter housing...whewww

Right on RatBuell, lol... Reducati, know that I think about it, that 18mm was a little sloppy on there...
