I was looking at these inserts, are they for the standard forks or the uprated forks on the site too ?

What spring rate did you opt for ? and how would i know which i need, the standard set-up is far to soft for hard street riding.

Why is the camera doing a Hawaiian Hula Dance? That's very weird.

Mountainstorm, my camera did this to but more extreme, i think its the vibrations of the engine and the mount for the camera, i have repositioned mine but yet to test it yet.

It's a combination lateral vibrations of the mount, and the progressive scan rate of the cmos image sensor. The mount has too much lateral spring which is causing a wind induced resonant vibration at certain speeds. When the frequency is just right (some multiple of the scan rate I assume) you get the bike on acid effect. I need to either stiffen or dampen the mount. Testing is good.
That being said, you will never completly eliminate this. All cmos sensor based cameras (which is all low cost "HD" cameras) exhibit this problem with fast lateral movement like pans.

"Acid effect". I knew that seemed familiar!

How do you like the cartridges?

So far the cartridges are great, but I have yet to get them dialed in. A firmer, more dampened ride, but not too much so. I expect they will show their real value on the track.

Avalugh- since the cartridges replace the entire guts of the forks, I assume they work with all. Just tell Erik Buell Racing your wight with gear and they will send the right springs.
