Your actual 0-60 will depend on how hard you can launch it. You are looking at 2-6 seconds depending on your skill. Motortrend says the SS is good for: 0-60 mph 6.0 sec (est) 1/4 mile 14.3 sec @ 98.1 mph (est) | ||

 a really really good car will do good to get much below 5 on a good day... your Cr should do a sub 3 on a bad day . you would have time to roll off the line and then twist it and still catch him . | ||

I have an '05 GTO which i guarantee is faster than any stock monte carlo ever made. The only way it will out run my Buell in a straight line is if the Buell is out of gas. | ||

It never ceases to amaze me how much people underestimate sportbikes. So many poeple do not realize that a 10k sportbike can beat a 200-400k sports car easily. One of my friends asked me the other day if my 1125 could beat a lancer evo. | ||

The only 4-wheel vehicles that can with a literbike is easily 7 digits in cost. A pro can get the R to 60 MPH in 2.7 or 2.8 seconds. The fastest stock bikes are about 2.6 seconds. U theoretically could give your dad a 3 second head start and still beat him 0-60mph. Big nascar fan or what? | ||

Had this conversation with a guy at a party last summer. I ended up walking away, tired of the argument. I didn't even think about youtube. I'll have to grab his email address and pass that video onto him. Although I all ready know he'll come back saying a F1 car could take the bike, or some other story. He is not prone to admitting when he is wrong. lol | ||

A few years back on my XB12, I was cruising down the highway coming home from work at night. Some dude in this most rusted out piece of crap Cavalier I ever saw pulled up next to me. He then honked the horn 3 times in 1 second intervals like we were about to race. He took off, I didn't change from my cruising speed of 60mph, because I know this highway like the back of my hand, and I knew about the 5 commonly used police hiding spots ahead. After he got a decent distance down the road, he threw on the hazard lights like he won a race. He eventually slowed down to the point we were side by side, I gave him a thumbs up like it was a great race  | ||

that reminds me of a time an evo revved it a stop light, like he wanted to race, we were in town so i shook my head, he still took off like crazy, he ran the next light going about 70mph through a school zone and there just happened to be a cop sitting right there. I bet they had a good talk.  | ||

EasyRider  most of these guys have no concept how hard a launch it takes for a 1.05 60ft  I have only been 1.14 60ft on a ProMod bike...never rode a ProStock bike...either way it will stretch your arms | ||

I think the only car you might have to worry about is the 1000 horsepower Bugatti Veyron. They can do 0-60 in 2.6 seconds......but as the tires cost $25000.00 for a set and as you have to ship it to France to remove the wheels.....I doubt too many of their owners will want to drag at a stop light. Anything else with four wheels, I wouldn't give a second thought. | ||
