Even though the manual and sales brochure for my '08 say that this exists, I am quite sure at this point that it does not. Has anyone installed an accessory plug? If so I would be curious to get some feedback on it. I really need some place to plug my radar detector into!

You must of not looked under your flyscreen yet. There is an accessory plug in there, and you can get the Ulysses outlet adapter that plugs right in to accept stuff that uses the normal outlet.

Thank you for the information. I did call the dealer and the sales guy did not think that it existed so I stopped looking. I was also looking for the cigarette adapter, not a plug.

Did you look at the link Froggy posted? The part number for the cigarette adapter is there, and is available, at least from the dealer I checked with online.

I got the Uly plug. I mounted it in one of the pillars that hold the fairing. Holds quite well. I only got mine a month or so ago, can't imagine it's gone that soon.
