So anyone figured out a way to adjust the preload collar with the subframe in the way? IMO its a piss poor design--and I do love the way it performs.

You need to remove the tail cover, then access it through the side.

Hmmm. I have the tool. I will be more specific. The threaded hole (A) will not accept the tool and the subframe makes only side access available...so you can turn the preload adjuster only so far until you get the threaded hole (and can't turn the adjuster further).

It's pretty obvious if you have the shock.
