Hey I picked up the highbars for my 09 CR last winter from a guy on here. Don't know if they are still hard to get??? But selling for what I paid for them.

$250 paypal or $242 check. that's shipped.

So you get both
N2002.1AT 1125CR™ Handlebar Option Kit, Tallbars

55959-02Y Traction Hand Grips

If price is to high and don't sell I'll take less after a few weeks. Also it's all new still wrapped. Reason selling is I like the clubmans.

have you sat on a bike with the highbars? I have driven a bike with both, and I have to say the highbars have no downside in my mind, more comfortable, easier to maneuver the bike, and did i say way more comfortable?

When I got my 09 I had them to put the high bars on before it left the dealership. In the showroom I didnt like the clubman bars. A few weeks ago I put the clubman bars on for the track and I like them alot better. At higher speeds the wind doesnt hit you in the chest and its way easier to steer when tucked in. And don't seem to vibrate nearly as much. With the highbars I hated the stock mirrors but with the clubmans I love them. In the city at speeds under 70 mph the highbars are better though. So it just depends on how you use your CR.

No I haven't been on a bike with the highbars yet. But I don't mind the clubmans at all. Most of my driving is straight highway miles. So I just tuck in and it's pretty comfortable, for me. Also cornering seems really good. All the curves are 45mph ones and I can take them 80 easy and feel comfortable.

If no ones interested I'll try to find a bike with highbars before lowering the price and see what the hypes all about.

I swapped out my clubmans for the high bars with traction grips. I will never go back!

I swapped out my high bars for clubmans and heated grips, I will never go back to freezing hands and being stuck uncomfortably in the wind! : )

See Froggy, I just park the old behind on the Uly with heated grips and don't worry about it. Of course living in Texas means I have about 3 weeks of winter and 45 weeks of summer, so rarely do I complain about the cold winter rides.

lol. you get used to it. alot of people dont read any farther then the first line...

the original was kinda high since you could get new bars and grips for a little less then that. right from the dealer.

kind of like im selling a car for 2000 and i had someone email me earlier saying it isnt worth more then 700-1000. my response is great i'll buy yours for that. oh wait you dont have one...

Yeah it was high at first didn't do the research.

A few years ago I was selling a pwc, a superjet. A guy like 2000 miles away wants it and is mad that I won't ship it. He gets pissed off and says "ITS A BUYERS MARKET!". He's freakin 2000 miles away and it's a buyers market? HA!
