As many of you know, my bro wrecked an 1125cr on palomar, i am trying to get it fixed up. I ordered a highbar kit for it, because the original bars were bent in the wreck. I noticed to day when i was putting on the highbars that the radiator on the left side (the side with the ecm) looks bent, I posted up a picture of it, is that how the radiator comes from the factory, or did it get bent in the wreck?

also, when i flushed the clutched fluid, i noticed it was black, and it had dirt in it, the master cylinder is bent up pretty bad, should i get a new master cylinder?

are you sure it will be ok? the hose is bent in a lot, i would say half of the original diameter is gone.

What are you guys getting as normal operating temps on stock bikes, i want to check mine to make sure it is not overheating.

techguy i've hit as high as 206 with ambient temps running in the 50's while waiting on I-95 in S. Ga usually 170-190 or so. i havent taken mine off to look at it but that looks like a dent that's there on purpose to make it fit within the pod hard to say but it seems like it is still on the same plane as the edge of the ECM

I really doubt that will be a problem.

$7.95 retail to replace that. Parts book doesn't show it detailed enough to tell if its dented or not.

I think some of the 1125s have an indented Left Hand rad hose:

Take a look here, someoene else was asking the same question

That is most definitely bent and dented. If you look at the reservoir you can see how its pushed in from the same area as the pipe. If it not leaking then don't worry about it. Now if froggy is right and the part IE radiator is 7.95 then buy a new one but I think there's a wire crossed in the part he's thinking of and what I see.

Froggy - that dented pipe is the top tube of the left side radiator.
Replace the left radiator, Q0022.1AMA is 122.00 MSRP.

$122 is cheap - I'd probably replace it for piece of mind, but it does look like it'll still work fine as is so it's just a question of weighing the risk of it failing/not providing enough cooling against the financial outlay..

At $122 I'd just replace it, but at the end of the day it's up to you.

You could suck-it-and-see, try it without a replacement rad and if it seems to be running hotter than expected then replace it..
