I recently changed my clutch cover on my 2008 1125r, Do I put fluid inside the cover or fill everything from the clutch res. I cant get a service manual for at least a week or so, and I can't find one online to download... Not sure what to do

If you are speaking of the hydraulic fluid, for gods sake please do not put that stuff "in the cover" This will mix DOT4 with your engine oil... Bad things will happen... Put everything back together, fill from clutch reservoir, bleed from clutch slave cylinder (look for the bleed screw at about 10 o'clock ON the clutch cover near the puck, should have a little rubber grommet cap)Be careful torquing it back down, a firm hand tight fitment with a 6 inch wrench is more than plenty. You will also need to bleed the system of any and ALL air, other wise when you pull the clutch it will not disengage the clutch completely (or if there is enough air not at all) and when you put it in gear it will launch out from underneath you : (

Thanks, I did all that, it seems to be working, we will see. I changed it 2 weeks ago, put in DOT 4 and then lost the clutch when my wife and I were riding. I went to Autozone to get some fluid and didn't pay attention, picked up DOT 3 and have been putting fluid in it every 15 miles since, I took the cover back off, cleaned it out, filled it back up with DOT 4. I hope I didn't mess up the o-rings. It goes into the shop for the repair kit for the clutch puck leaking on Wed.
