Any suggestions on the best way to remove the airbox decals without causing any damage?

Apply gentle heat (hairdryer) and peel slowly, apparently on a hot sunny day you won't even need the hairdryer..

i peeled the originals off, and cleaned the residue with 1040, then applied some xb decals, which look a hell of a lot better.

Also if it doesn't peal easy use some low test fishing line with the hair dryer.

I heated the back side of the air box cover as opposed to applying heat directly to the emblem.

So the question I have is this. What is the best way to apply a new decal?

Do the air box decals come with instructions? Are they applied with a glue or adhesive? They seem pretty durable.

I'll use masking tape around the original decal and peel them off. The tape allows you to place the new decal in the same location.
