So I had a problem with my throttle sticking when halfway open. Pulled off the airbox and figured out the throttle body mount gasket (under the inner airbox cover) had slipped down and was rubbing against the metal pull and release bar on the throttle body. Then I noticed that a piece of the gasket was torn or cut off??? I'm not sure how that happened or if it was like that when I bought the bike but is there anywhere I can buy a new one? I've looked around online for the last hour and haven't found anything. Any clues before I head to the stealership to order one (if it's even available)? Thanks! | ||

I think you are referring to part number 9 in the picture, if so the part number is P0084.1AMH that part is about $20.  | ||

Yea that's the correct part and number...the problem is I can't find anyone selling that online. I searched through some of the retail sponsors for this forum with no luck. I guess I'll just head to the dealership to order it. | ||

You're awesome man...thanks a lot. Not sure wtf happened with the one that came with my bike but I suspect it's why the gasket is slipping off the inner airbox. (Message edited by koji52 on April 09, 2010) |
