I know there have been a few suggested options but I found something really simple and thought I'd share:  It's just a simple RAM Mount ball on a hollow post that you can bolt pretty much anywhere. In this case I just selected the top bolt for the front brake.  The SatNav sits inside a waterproof bag that has a RAM Mount ball attched to the back of it. This makes even non-waterproof SatNavs useable on a bike in poor weather.  This is the view from the rider's seat. All I have to do now is hook up the power  | ||

Thats very similar to how I installed my waterproof Garmin Zumo, but I did it clutch side. It works great. | ||

Thanks for the link! I'll have to pick one of those up. How did you mount the camera? Did you have to chop it up a bit to get it in place? I saw that one and was scratching my head on how/where you could put it. | ||

I don't know if they're a site sponsor, but there is a company that makes a ram ball mount for GPS or whatever to replace the reservoir cap on either the clutch or brake. I considered buying that when I get another GPS for my Buell. It would probably work for a radar detector as well. | ||

How did you mount the camera? Did you have to chop it up a bit to get it in place? Yes I cut it down a little and mounted it on the plate. Bear in mind UK plates are enorous in comparison to US ones.. In fact mine is about 3 inches to small both lengthways and heightwise to be considered legal (plus it's the wrong color - it should be yellow with much bigger black letters)  | ||

Do you find the wireless cameras give a stable signal ? With mine the picture gets a lot of interference ... | ||

The Vr3 one has a wired option too (you need an extra cable) I'm currently running it wired as the picture is (as you say) more stable that way. The cable was £13 extra and is a 3.5mm jack plug so really easy to run/wire.. |
