I did not notice when I took apart, two washers. Do they both go together or one on one side and the other? Talking about holding the brake line to the caliper.

The copper washers?

One goes on each side of the banjo bolt.

While I've certainly be able to re-use them, it's generally accepted the copper washer is a one-use item.

Is there two coppers on the clutch as well?

The copper washers are called "crush" washers. Basically, they ensure a tight seal between two metals, and are used in all kinds of hydraulic applications beyond motorcycles, as well.

So, yes, there *should* be two washers, one on each side, of every banjo bolt on your bike. So, that's 4 total for the clutch (2 on each end), and 4 total for the front brake.

The copper ones are best because copper is very ductile and can often be reused successfully. Aluminum will also work, but it's very much more of a one-time-use material.

You can get a 10- or 12- pack of them for cheap enough -- handy to have around the shop.

Thanks,
Are these the same size that I will need for an oil change? Would make sense. I reused them this time. I think all I have left is route the clutch line and fill and bleed the lines and button it all back up. '
