So, I filled up my clutch fluid reservoir with DOT 4 Brake Fluid a couple days ago and it is continuously leaking out of the front left (sitting on the bike) corner. I have taken the cap back off to make sure the gasket and the rubber grommet thingy are in place. Any suggestions? it is getting all over my clutch lever and I worry because brake fluid can be so corrosive.

No, not at all. The clutch is still working perfectly. No change in tension or action at all.

Is it possible you overfilled it?

I would pop off the cap periodically and wipe it up... shouldn't be necessary to do more than once a week if it's just a minor leak.

I've only had a small amount of leakage myself.

I filled it all the way up to the top... So, yeah I definitely could have overfilled it.

Would that cause it to leak? I figured the cap would be a completely tight seal.

Sorry I partially misinterpreted... I thought you were having some leaking from the outer clutch cover (the cap I referred to was the puck!).

But yeah, I think you can overfill the reservoir and the leakage your getting is probably from that. The seal is tight, but the fluid is under pressure when you squeeze the lever.
