I posted up here before, my bro wrecked his cr on palomar, and we decided to fix it up. I got some parts in today, I replaced the airbox, and i finally got it started today, it sounded great to hear it come back to life. The throttle felt different, I am wondering if it got tweaked from the wreck. The only thing that worried me, was a little white smoke came out of the exhaust, it started smoking about 10 sec after i started it up, and went on for about 30 seconds, it was very light white smoke, should I be worried about that? other then the smoke, it ran great, the all the major components feel solid, I am excited to get the bike back up and running.

I need a few part numbers, if some can look these up for me that has a parts manual that would be great:
for a 2009 1125 cr, color is black
1. seat, the one the driver sits on
2. rear fairing, the one that surrounds the seats, its gloss black like the airbox cover
3. the bottom rear fairing that is above the wheel, not the rear fender, the fairing, it is right under the battery, the color is that matte black/grey.
4. the license plate and turn signal mounting bracket
5. speedometer
6. speedometer mounting bracket
7. clutch/front brake master cylinder caps
8. windscreen, its the part that goes from the headlights to the speedometer.
9. the controls on the left side of the handlebars, control the turn singals and lights
10. The plug that goes into the speedometer got crunched, so I need to remove the wires and get a new plastic plug to put the wires in
11. one headlight cracked, shoudl I get hid's, if so how much are they and where is a good spot to get them?

Thanks in advance for all the help.

here are some pics:

I doubt it was smoke, it was probably steam. Moisture built up inside the motor was being burnt off.

Or it may have been oil that seeped up on top of the pistons. If it doesn't happen again, it is probably not an issue.

As for the parts: ebay, ebay, ebay.

You may not find all of them but what you do find should be a hell of a lot cheaper.

I decided to order the parts manual, so I will just look up the part numbers myself.

where do you guys order oem parts from?
I was looking at latus hd or chicago hd, as they take part #'s online.

I'm going to be ordering over a $1000 worth of parts and I want to get a good deal.

yeah, I know about americansportbike.com, but there are a lot of parts I need that they do not carry. i'm just wondering if there is a certain harley dealer or forum sponsor that has good prices on oem parts.

I know you have black, but here's a link to a complete set of red in the Badweb classifieds
http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/21/ 550081.html?1270248047

Should you want to piece together a set, the tail fairing (glossy part) is the same as a Firebolt. The undertail is different and an 1125 based part only.

Make a list when you get the #'s and send 'em to the sponsoring shops for quotes and let us know!

I've ordered parts through the Surdyke website, you still really need the part number although you can search on the description as well and I'm finding out that the part numbers are changing along with the prices. I ordered a front fender back in early march, the old part number expired and the new one was $20.00 more.

They also announced that effective 3/15 that they would not be offering a discount on all parts across the board. You might want to contact them via their website to see if you can get a discount on a large order like that (I saved 15% on an entire set of black midnight plastics for my 1125CR (the left pod is still on backorder) but shipping at the time was a flat 6% of the order so there was no incentive to buy them all at once. Now they have free shipping on orders over $150.00.

In case you need any of these I have the stock rider seat, stock passenger seat, stock turn signals, stock mirrors, stock license plate bracket (a.k.a the cheese-less grader), stock foot pegs, stock passenger foot pegs and heal protectors ) just stuff I already took of the bike.
