Don't know of any Charcoal canister on the 1125's, the only vac line goes to the clutch to reduce lever effort, it should stay, it robs no power.

Just de-noid it and you'r good to go

Most people put the charcoal canister back ON, because otherwise you piss fuel all over the place.

If you don't have a cali bike, you don't have a charcoal canister.

I agree with "De-noid it and go."

Drawkward -
I'd give you mine if I had one.
I haven't had any drip/fume issues in 24k miles and over 2 years riding.

I have a spare belt and a brother's ashes where y'all put the charcoal.

98s1 - definitely remove at least the cable on "the noid" it will lighten the throttle pull a LOT.

98s1 -

And why does this smog "crap" bother you?

It weighs next to nothing, it isn't really in the way of anything....!

Sure...I suppose if you had a super light glove (just one), you could put it where the canister now sits...

I don't know of much smog crap except for the noid (which weighs about 1 lb 13.5 oz). Unless you get an ECM that disregards the O2 sensors and you get rid of them. Of course, you could maybe consider the inner air box cover as EPA crap but you may lose some top end speed if you remove it. For that matter, the muffler could be considered EPA crap, you could change that out and lose 10 pounds +/-. Of the above I think the 'noid is really the most useless thing and has no business on the bike.

I'm having the carbon canister installed on my 49-state bike tomorrow. I'm not opposed to the smell of fuel in the garage, but my wife isn't so crazy about it ...

I love the smell of gasoline in the morning. It smells like internal combustion victory. Just don't light a match.

Go -

The parts you mention....have nothing to do with the "smog crap".
Unless you're just pushing these other items to be funny..!
