I was going to just send a PM to Easyrider but figured I would post a thread in case anyone else has some similar questions. In short, I'm not happy with the rideability of my 1125R (it might be the noid, it might be something loose, or it might just need a tune) and I want to get something done soon. I'm going to disconnect the noid (still waiting on the resistor, which the dealer told me is on back order until Friday) but if that doesn't do it, I'm going to buy a tune or ECM. Here are my questions for Easyrider:

1) What's the ETA on your tune for the Barker exhaust? Last I heard, you hadn't received the exhaust to begin tuning with, but that was a couple of weeks ago.

2) Roughly what will the tune cost? I don't need an exact dollar amount but just an approximation. I have an idea of how much I'd like to spend and am wondering if this tune will fall within my budget.

3) Will the tune be able to be installed remotely or will I have to ship off my ECM to have it flashed with the tune?

4) Will I have the ability to put the bike back to stock myself, or will I need to be in touch with your company to have that done?

5) If I sell my Barker's exhaust, can I sell the tune with it or is the tune permanently mated to my ECM?

Thanks!

I did send them an exhaust but not sure if they received it yet.

Yup, I remember Easyrider saying a few weeks ago that you had shipped him an exhaust. I hope it's gotten there by now and he's had a little time to tinker with it! (Damn pokey overseas shipping. I've sworn off buying stuff from Hong Kong because of the two-week delivery time.)

Thefleshrocket, Look here for solutions, what you ask is there: www.fuelsolutions.nl

1. is correct nothing in yet
2. look at www.fuelsolutions.nl about 225 dollar to start with.
3.Yes
4. yes, depending on what solution you buy
5. it is married for life with the ECM

I think that the way you ask your questions, you already spoke with my Colleague about this (-:

Tbarker, Nothing received yet

My exhaust was held up in UK customs for 8 LOOOOOOONG days, then there was the lovely VAT to pay too (worth every penny) so I would guess NL customs is hanging on to yours too..

The tracking number Tim sent me worked great - i could see it arrive in customs and 8 days later see it leave!
