I was reading some magazine and saw an article about bosch ABS system for motorcycles. So I needed to search the web for, and I found some interesting things.
As I understand can this ABS been installed on almost every bike? So what you think, can it be easily done with my CR?

I think it's very interesting...

Maybe there's your chance now to get ABS on your bike
I saw bikes with ABS and I must say that it's not bad. I'm really thinking how would I put that on my bike

I've seen something similar before and I call BS on the mechanical ABS. The only thing it does is reduce the max brake line pressure. That would be about the equivalent of allowing air into your brake lines to keep you from locking the brakes. The true antilock brake systems use sensors to detect the rate of deceleration of the wheel. This has to be done electronically to have a prayer of allowing the system to react in time to actuall help a rider. The mechanical system's claim of working "2-3 times per second" is actually very poor. A heck of a lot can happen in a half second and that's an easily achievable reaction time for humans.

IMO, your money would be better spent if you just lit it on fire.

True electronic ABS is another story and there some very high tech systems that are extremely good. This kind of ABS is such an integral part of the bike that it would be more cost-effective to just buy a bike that was made with it from the factory.

For my commuter I have a '08 Yamaha FJR with ABS. I've not had any problems using max braking that I've noticed. I have no idea if it really is affective, but I like the idea and hope I never need it.

This type system has been around for a long time, from one manufacturer or another.

For what it's worth, I agree with Family_

Best money for improving braking and safety: rider training.

A good safety course followed by a track school will improve your stopping ability far more and far cheaper than all but the most high tech ABS system (CBR100RR)
