hey guys. im havin trouble typing this as i only can use one hand. last sat. me an my son went 2 pine mount. ga. on our 1125s. we only came back wit one. i wound up wit a broke collar bone,broke wrist, broke rib.an destroyed knee. i no that my bike wit the barkers exhaust an ebr ecm is totaled. ill take the parts off be4 i get an estimate. i hope 2 qet another 1 soon. though it may be a year b4 i can ride. does anyone no how much the ins. cos. r offerin for a bike?

was sorry to here that the other day when i called : ( thats no good at all. glad your not in any worse shape though...

i have no idea what they would be looking at giving you for it currently. usually it should be pretty close to replacement value, but you know how the market is for buells right now so im not sure.

as i told your friend see what they want for the wrecked bike. i may be interested.

Hope your recovery goes quickly. Is Pine Mount a track or were you on the road? Was it a high end and would leathers with CE pads have saved you any injury? Im trying to convince the wife that I should spend spend some cash armor up somewhat.

That sucks. I feel ya brother. My 07' 9R was estimated at $4,700 to fix after I was hit. The insurance company totaled it and gave me $5,600 to pay it off. I made $300 off the bike.


How did this happen?

I totaled mine last summer, befor the Fall of Buell. Ins. paid off the balance. I only had it a month. Got a new '08, with new loan in a month. Also befor the fall of Buell...

I had a customer total one and I belive the insurance settled @ $7,200.00 Black book average retail price.

believe me i have considered that if i end up with a spare motor like i want. damn near did it with a tl 1000 motor that was laying around last year from a project that got scrapped : )

No rice, if you change your mind let me know. The motor in my track bike is getting soft (40k miles with 10k of them on the track!) and I'm starting to look for a motor to put in it so I can keep the old one for parts.

thanks guys. im hopping 2 keep mine an buy another mayb an 1190kit lol. no amount of gear would have helped me. i couldnt hold the line an ran off the road through a ditch an into a tree. my son still has his red 1125cr. does anyone no where there r some new ones left? how much can u uaually buy the totaled bike for from the ins. co.? btw im wit dairyland
