Tbenson or 1125caff, are the ones on eBay for $85 (plus shipping) the correct ones, specifying satin? If those are the ones on T's white/blue (in that picture posted 3/29), then I'm getting a set. Looks great IMO!

Yes Milleniumx1, contact the seller via email and specify what you are looking for.

He will more than likely contact you directly, or have you contact him, to explain the options available.

The ones off of ebay do work well and give the bike a little more sound at speed. The noise is about the same at a stand still, but when moving and hitting the throttle it sounds better. They look better too.

I got the ones off ebay too.

I cannot even get close with any kind of wrench.

I guess I could grind an allen key down for an hour or so until it's a nub, and hope it flys. But ugh.....

Change my last. I hit my brake line clamp with a small hammer. Moved it about a half inch in. Has a friend sit on the bike.

It worked. Tips went on easy. Lined up nice.

Now tightening those hex bolts!

That was funny. Try laying on your back with your eyeball almost inside the swingarm with your two smallest fingers trying to hand tighten.

Fun stuff. But done.

I'd recommend Alberts. Fantastic quality and no need to remove the wheel to fit.

I have not heard of anyone needing to remove the rear wheel on the Direct Flow Tips either?

I suppose to fit the set screw to be hidden, it would cause the location to be a tight fit, not sure, mine does not have set screws.

Glad to hear you got them installed 1125caffinatedracer, how do they look?

It is nice not having all of the crud from the exhaust all over the rim, swing arm and rotor, just brake dust and road debris, much easier and less time consuming when cleaning, maybe I'm just lazy!

Went on easy -- took a few minutes to grind down an allen key.

Just this weekend I put the stainless version on my 1125R from the previously mentioned Ebay seller (Drew).

Maybe a lot of money for just tips...but heck, I've spent that much money on dinner out for two before...and the tips should last a lot longer!

Did you have to remove the rear wheel to install the turn outs? Somebody mentioned that they had to, but it looks like you can access the locking screws from between the muffler and the rear wheel...

I didn't...just used a short 3mm allen wrench in between the tips and the tire, and cranked it down!

All right, Maximum talked me into it ... Looking that good (appreciate the close-up pics) without having to remove the rear wheel - I'm in!

I just ordered them off of ebay too. $93 will be worth it not to have to clean the rim and swing arm so much. They look awesome, can't wait to be back from Iraq and get them on.

Jumpinjewels, your bike looks really nice with all the accessories.

The colors blend really well with the bike, nice pic too.

Great job!!!

I just ordered a set off Ebay from Drew. His communication has been great so far. Can't wait to get them on. I will post a pick when I get them on.

I went with the satin aluminum.

Could someone who ordered a set from eBay please post the link to the item they ordered here? Just looked for about 30 minutes and couldn't find anything...what does this Drew person have them listed as (description/title)?
Thanks!
