Hey, guys. I just bought a new 1125R and plan on taking it to the Orlando this Friday. Until I get my service manual, I need some quick help. I want to take the shift light controller off my Warrior dragbike and use it on the Buell. I need to go to the ECM side of the coil stick on one of the cylinders. How easy is it to get to? Again, without a manual, I don't want to start tearing into it without at least a simple roadmap. Thanks in advance for your help. Glad to be on the team.

not likely to work the ic is on a serial data line, from the ecm, it includes the tach IIRC,

one of the coil pulse trains perhaps
not easy to get to.

good luck

The tach needle does act as a shift light. I understand if it's not optimal for drag racing, but maybe you can tap into that signal.

Thanks. I'll look it over when I get home. Hopefully, my service manual will be there when I arrive.

Thanks again for the help.
