I just got done riding the twisties. I take a left corner and hear something that sounds like it's dragging. I look down and my kickstand is smacking the pavement. Somewhere I had lost the whole kickstand spring assembly. I don't know how or why but just letting ya'll know and to check them.

FYI no one stocks the parts so now I have to wait a week.

If you're in a hurry to get the parts, a decent sized Ace Hardware has all sorts of springs in various different weights and sizes. You should be able to find an interim solution if needed.

Was the recall done? That was a known recall issue with some bikes (the kickstand spring).

The spring "hook" breaks, and the whole assembly including linkage falls off.

I ran safety wire through mine I broke so many springs so I'd quit loosing the linkage.
