Holy funk its agressive! Cruising around 3k is a breeze. 1st gear is downright scary responsive and 2nd is much more responsive and torquey too. The engine sound deeper and throatier too, less metallic more round and smooth. Haven tried top end yet... i will have to wait till it gets warmer.

i have a closed airbox, k&n and a jardine exhaust.

best money spent so far!!!

How much did the TM ECM cost ya in USD? And which exact one did you get (or was it custom), I see a few options there for the 1125R/CR.

I paid 300 euros for it! Sent in the ecm and received it one week later. Gas mileage hmmm dunno yet. Dont dare to test that until my fuel pump gets fixed, it has the fuel lamp coming on at random times. Its booked in for a service next week.

I am with Froggy. Nothing wrong with increased performance for sure, but how much it impacts fuel mileage is a factor. I would be curious to hear the before/after numbers with normal (non-agressive) riding.

I have no doubt the Twincycles ECM is impressive. He has done a ton of development on it and has a great rep.

Using Twin Motorcycles Torque Hammer and the revised ECM I'm getting 39 miles to the Imperial gallon. Riding normally in town traffic and highway for a tank full of fuel. Will keep up dating the average as I fill up.

For what it's worth and those that are interested (if my calculations didn't fail me), 39 miles per imperial gallon equal approx 33 miles per US gallon.

So has anyone compared the EBR ECM to the Twin Reprogram?

Easy, I would welcome your input in the differences as I am sure you know more about the differences than anyone else

Trafford,

Look at the size of the throttle body inlets on your XB then look at the HUGE throttlebodies on the 1125 and YOU tell me why the 1125 gets less mpg than the XB's hell even if you were blind you could feel the difference with your fingers....
