Let me add to this, will the EBR suspension be worth the cost for a street bike and a few track days? | ||

I have heard people describe the EBR stuff as being very stiff for the street. I believe the performance increase comes from better internal action and more adjustability for differing track conditions. How has the stock setup been lacking for you? | ||

One of the guys from ebr suggested it to me, so i was just wondering if it would help me for the street or if it wouldnt be worth it, so thats why i asked | ||

Make sure you get the right springs for your weight. It would be uncomfortable on a street bike that's not exclusively used for sporting pace rides. It's valved for an experienced rider. | ||

i am at the lighter end of the recommended weight for the lighter springs. in order to get the recommended sag i had to reduce the length of the supplied spacer. even still i am running with only 1 turn in on the preload. this is on my race/track only bike. i ran the stock stuff all last year and was very satisfied. i'm still adjusting on the race suspension after 2 race weekends but it is a lot closer now. picked up 3 seconds a lap at Daytona since last October and will need 3 more by next October. the street bike is still all stock. tim |
