I installed a GPR damper and thought mine would benefit from a retourque..... NOPE still there, tried it a few times

it is coming from the fork and FWIW my gixxersevenfiddy did the same thing.... XB12R did NOT make this sound!

954 used to do this exact thing, FZ still does it. Louder when cold. Had catalyst reaction put their .02$ in, valve popping on cold oil, think high pressure bypass. You can go a couple ways...

Open your valving
or
Let the forks get to temp. (Hard when its zero out...)

I have started noticing this fork clicking noise myself... there is a much older thread on this, with a detailed re-torquing procedure by Spectrum:

My front end pop's too when ever I drop the clutch at 10 grand in 1st gear.
