Fixin to pull the trigger on a a Vanson Vent Max 4. I know Vanson makes good stuff, but have never bought any myself.

Anybody had any problems? It fits really well, and seems to be made well.

Any thoughts appreciated.

No personal experience here, but I do know several riders who highly recommend Vanson's riding gear, mostly leather though.
Nice looking Jacket.

Sorry not much help!

Have you looked at the Fieldsheer Crossroads or the new Crossroads 2.0?
A similar jacket.
You can find them on sale for a great price, if you search.
I tried one on, it is the best fitting jacket, for me at least, that I have found so far.
Got a great deal on a Buell Bolt Jacket though, it fits me really well too.

Almost bought one of these but ended up getting a deal on a Vanson leather full perf. Like comparing apples to oranges, but Vanson always used top shelf materials so would suspect that jacket is well made too. Think you can send back to Vanson for repairs if needed.
Good luck.

I have a tourmaster mesh jacket with waterproof then insulated liner. I really like it for all around summer weather.

I almost bought a Flex series 2 jacket as a replacement because the waterproof layer is on the outside, mesh inner, liner inside. That layout makes more sense.

I have an Icon jacket now and after having it for a while, my next jacket wont be from Icon. It is missing a few things that most jackets have like a zipper for pants attachment and a velcro flap for keeping the zipper pull from slapping your neck while riding. And speaking of the zipper pull, mine broke off.

Cortech makes a nice mesh jacket, the GX Air Series 2. I have one of those and it is a great all around jacket. Mesh for summer, waterproof and quilted liners for winter

Thanks, guys. I just picked it up. Initial impression is great. Fits right, no flapping, great quality construction. Feels like I'm wearing a t-shirt on the road.

Got it for $175 +TT&L

It was a bit less than I thought, and I wound up getting a set of Five gloves.
