I don't think I'd want an 1125R for a dedicated track bike, simply because replacement parts would probably be pretty expensive and/or hard to come by if I crashed it. Something Japanese and several years old would probably be a better bet. (I had an '01 GSX-R600 track bike for a few years until I made a mess of it.)

With my street-ridden 1125R, I've got full coverage with a low deductible so if I happen to hurt something pricey, it won't hurt my wallet.

Considering that used demo bikes can (or at least could when I checked in December) be found for around $5000, buying a track only bike for $4500 (which is what the asking price is in the CL ad) might not be the best idea.

EBR = no worries for replacement parts. Or if you wanted you could stalk up on extra parts from a dealer of American Sport Bike
